Axcis Education are looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, and flexible ASD Learning Support Assistant within the Sutton Coldfield area. Your role will be to provide high-quality support, with the ability to mentor SEND pupils in a positive and enriching environment. The role will require working with teachers to provide additional support to pupils as required, enabling pupils to learn effectively in class. We are looking for candidates to support primary age groups that have worked in the following environments: • School. • Care setting. • Youth Clubs. • Nurseries. • Voluntary work supporting children with SEND. Requirements for the role: • You will need to have experience supporting Autism and have a full understanding of what will be required of you to support a pupil on a 1:1 basis in a classroom setting. • Be able to work - 8:30am – 3:30pm (initially temporary).
