Job Title: Behaviour Mentor as SEN College
An Independent Specialist College based in Rochdale which provides education and training to young people with very severe, complex or profound learning disabilities, are currently looking for behaviour mentors to provide excellent levels of support and guidance to learners with severe, complex and profound learning difficulties during their college day. This SEND school requires friendly, enthusiastic, motivated and reliable SEND teaching assistants. Who is experienced in handling challenging behaviour? The successful behaviour mentors will be energetic, dynamic and passionate about creating a positive impact on young people’s lives. As a behaviour mentor, you will need to be resilient, calm, and able to demonstrate an ability to deal with challenging and sometimes confrontational situations. The college is looking for SEN Learning Support Assistants who are empathetic and adaptable individuals, who thrive under pressure and have a natural ability to solve challenges The working hours are 08:30-15:30, Monday to Friday, term time only. All roles are temporary to start ASAP and then are ongoing.
