Job Title: SEMH teaching assistant
Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual with a passion for supporting the educational and emotional growth of students? Axcis are excited to announce an opportunity for a full-time, long-term Teaching Assistant to join a school. In this role, you will be an integral part of the educational community, working closely with students who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience and expertise, including certification in Team Teach techniques and experience with challenging behaviour and SEMH. Your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, from providing classroom support to offering one-on-one assistance tailored to each student's unique needs. Your ability to implement effective behaviour management strategies, foster a positive learning environment, and collaborate closely with teachers and other staff members will be crucial to the success of our students.
