Axcis Education are looking for qualified teachers who holds QTS status who are looking for new opportunities from September, to work in mainstream or SEND schools in the Exeter area. The right candidate must have experience working with children with behavioural needs, Autism, and communicative difficulties including learning difficulties. You will be required to enable the ongoing progress and development of the class in a range of learning and personal development programmes including basic Maths and English. The role is full time from Monday to Friday starting 8:30 – 3:30. You will have an expectation to work later if needed. Your responsibilities as the class teacher will be to provide high – quality learning with well resourced lessons for all students. You will need to monitor the pupil’s achievements, develop life skills and prepare them for adulthood. It is important you can also understand the pupil’s needs through their EHCP’s. Most importantly you need to be caring, creative, adaptive and passionate to give all students a successful education.
