Job Title: **SEND TEACHING ASSISTANT**
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team in Newham, working with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a supportive educational setting. This is a full-time position with a daily pay rate of £95.
Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to SEND students to enhance their learning experience and help them achieve their full potential.
Assist the class teacher in creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
Work closely with students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
Encourage student independence and personal development in a safe, nurturing environment.
Collaborate with other staff and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Requirements:
Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant with SEND students is essential.
A caring and patient attitude, with a passion for supporting students with additional needs.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
An understanding of a variety of special educational needs and how to adapt learning methods accordingly.
