Job Title: ADHD Teaching Assistant
Axcis Education is looking for a ADHD Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a 14-year-old boy in a mainstream secondary school in East London, starting September 2025.
About the Role:
Position: ADHD Teaching Assistant (1:1 support)
Start Date: September 2025
Location: East London – excellent transport links & on-site parking
Setting: Mainstream secondary school
Schedule: Full-time (Monday to Friday, term-time only)
Student Profile: A bright and energetic 14-year-old boy with a diagnosis of ADHD, who benefits from consistent support and structured, engaging learning approaches
You’ll be a key part of his educational journey, supporting him academically and emotionally throughout the school day. You’ll work closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and the family to ensure a tailored and effective support plan is in place.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience working with children with ADHD or other additional needs
The ability to build rapport and maintain clear, consistent boundaries
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A valid DBS on the update service
