Job Title: ASD Teacher
Location: Greenford, Ealing, Mainstream Primary School Position: ARP Teacher (Autism Resource Provision) Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm Start Date: January Duration: Maternity Cover (1 year) Pay Rate: £175-£220 per day (depending on experience) Axcis are looking for a qualified teacher (QTS) to join the autism resource provision (ARP) within our mainstream primary school, supporting children in upper KS2 (Years 4, 5, and 6). The ARP caters to up to 15 children with autism, and Axcis are seeking an experienced and committed teacher to lead this class for a maternity cover starting in January. Key Responsibilities: -Plan and deliver tailored lessons for children with autism, creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment. -Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to ensure personalised learning and care for each pupil. -Utilise autism-specific strategies to help pupils reach their full potential. -Maintain a calm and structured classroom atmosphere to support effective learning. Requirements: -Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. -Experience working with children with autism and other SEND. -A DBS on the update service is required. -Commitment to the full length of the maternity cover (1 year).
