Job Title: Care Assistants for School Based Roles
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants and Care Workers to join our team at a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) school located in London. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a rewarding environment and make a significant difference in the lives of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support teachers in the preparation and delivery of lessons tailored to students with special educational needs and disabilities
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, helping them with their academic and personal development
• Assist with personal care tasks, including feeding, toileting, and hygiene as required
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Monitor and record students' progress and behaviour
Requirements:
• Previous experience working with children with special educational needs and disabilities is preferred
• UK experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skill
• Patience, empathy, and resilience in dealing with challenging behaviour
• Relevant qualifications or training in special education, child development, care work, or a related field is a plus
• Enhanced child and adult DBS registered on the update service
Key Information
Working Hours: 08:30-16:00, Monday to Friday, Term time only.
Contract Type: Long term TEMPORARY
Pay Rates: Daily rates from £95.29
