Job Title: Complex Needs Teacher Location: Wandsworth, London Contract Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:15 PM) Salary: Paid to scale Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Complex Needs Teacher to join our Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Wandsworth, London. This role is ideal for an individual with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) who is committed to providing high-quality education to students with diverse and complex needs. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver engaging and tailored lessons to facilitate the learning and development of students with complex needs. • Work collaboratively with educational staff, specialists, and families to create individualized education plans (IEPs). • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that promotes student wellbeing and progress. • Monitor and assess student achievements, implementing strategies for growth and improvement. • Uphold high standards of teaching and learning while following school policies and procedures. Qualifications and Skills: • QTS is essential. • Experience working with children with complex needs in a PRU or similar setting is highly desirable. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. • Ability to adapt teaching styles to meet the needs of individual learners.
