Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Specialist KS1 Provision (Autism/SLCN) Start Date: September | Mainstream Primary School We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our inclusive mainstream primary school from September. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a specialist KS1 provision, supporting children (primarily Year 2) with Autism and Speech, Language and Communication Needs. About the Role You will be the lead adult within a specialist “hub” classroom, delivering a tailored, semi-formal curriculum designed to support pupils with additional needs. Working closely with the Assistant Headteacher/SENCo, you will play a key leadership role in shaping learning experiences that enable every child to thrive. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience—or a strong interest—in specialist education within a mainstream setting.
