Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Location: Bury, Greater Manchester (BL9) Start Date: January 2025 Pay Rate: £85 - £100 per day, depending on experience Axcis Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a vibrant and welcoming primary school located in Bury. This opportunity is ideal for an HLTA who demonstrates a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and is enthusiastic about making a difference in students’ educational journeys. About the Role: This is a full-time role where the HLTA will play a key role in supporting both teachers and students across various year groups. As an HLTA, you will provide targeted intervention, work 1:1 with students requiring extra support, and facilitate group activities to promote engagement in the classroom. The school values creativity and encourages staff to bring fresh ideas to engage students and enhance their learning experience. Ideal Candidate Profile: - Experience: Proven experience as an HLTA or similar role in a primary school setting. - Qualifications: HLTA qualification or equivalent Level 4 or above teaching assistant qualification. - Passion for Education: Displays an enthusiasm for learning and is driven to inspire students to reach their full potential. - Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents alike. - Adaptability: Able to adapt to different classroom environments and manage small groups effectively. - Team Player: Works well as part of a team and values collaborative efforts to benefit the students.
