Job Title: Learning Mentor
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Mentor to join our supportive team at an all-through school for boys aged 5 to 19 in Wandsworth, starting immediately after the February half-term.
Our school supports pupils with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, all of whom have Educational Health Care Plans. We are committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment where every learner can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one and small group mentoring to support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
Work closely with teaching staff, parents, and external agencies to promote positive outcomes for pupils.
Help pupils develop resilience, confidence, and coping strategies to engage fully in their learning journey.
Ideal Candidate:
Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH needs.
A caring and adaptable approach to learning and behaviour support.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for making a real difference in the lives of young learners.
