Learning Support Assistant – Alternative Provision Location: Redditch Start Date: January 2025 Monday – Friday – 08:30 – 15:30 Axcis are working with an Alternative Provision located in Redditch who are looking for a few Learning Support Assistants to join with them from January 2025. This role is being offered on a full-time basis and will be offered till July 2025. Based in Redditch, our client is an Alternative Provision that was first established in 2010. They work to transform lives if young people who are no longer able to access Mainstream Education. They aim to provide a culture and curriculum that broadly mirrors learner’s mainstream experiences whilst working with pupils to progress emotionally, socially and academically. We are looking for Learning Support Assistant who will be able to support students, both on a 1:1 basis and through small group interventions. You will work with young people and aim to make a positive and lasting impression on the lives on young people. To be successful for this role you will • Be confident and hardworking • Have experience of working with young people, this could be through School settings or through care settings • Be a positive role model to young people • Have a DBS that is on the Update Service or be willing to pay £56.71 for a new check to be done.
