Salary: £85-£90 per day

Axcis Education is working with an excellent primary school committed to providing high-quality learning experiences for all students. They believe in fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere where every child can thrive. They are currently seeking a passionate and motivated Level 2 or higher Teaching Assistant to join their team and support their pupils in their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Assist with the planning and preparation of learning activities.
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, including those with special educational needs.
• Help maintain a safe and productive classroom environment.
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
• Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the teacher.
• Contribute to the development of individual education plans (IEPs) and personal care programs.
• Support the implementation of school policies and procedures, including safeguarding.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or higher).
• Previous experience working in an educational setting, preferably with children aged 5-11 years old.
• Knowledge of special educational needs and effective support strategies.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
