Axcis Education is thrilled to partner with a dedicated local school in Tameside seeking a compassionate and proactive Level 2 Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual passionate about supporting students with special educational needs on a one-to-one basis in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 classroom support to students in accordance with EHCP (Education, Health, and Care Plans).
- Collaborate with teachers and SEN staff to implement tailored support strategies.
- Assist students with diverse needs, encouraging their engagement, confidence, and overall progress.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Candidate Requirements:
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- UK Teaching experience is required!
- Previous experience working in a school setting with children with additional needs is desirable.
- An understanding of EHCP plans and experience providing 1:1 support.
- Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and adaptability.
