Full-Time - £83.40 per day - January 2024 start - Permanent Opportunity Are you passionate about supporting children with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs? A fantastic school in Odd Down, Bath is looking for a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their team from January 2024 until the end of the academic year, with the potential to secure a permanent role. Key Responsibilities: • Build positive relationships with students, acting as a trusted role model. • Support students in accessing the curriculum and participating in learning activities. • Create a safe, structured environment, offering emotional support and routine. • Collaborate with teachers, senior staff, and external agencies to provide tailored support. • Safeguard children’s welfare and escalate concerns when necessary. You’ll need excellent communication, active listening, and empathy skills to provide meaningful support for vulnerable students.
