JOB LOCATION:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced SEND Teacher to support students across Early Years and Primary in UB7. This part-time role is a fantastic opportunity for an educator dedicated to fostering inclusive and engaging learning environments for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver tailored teaching and learning activities across Early Years and Primary settings to support students with diverse needs.
Design and implement individualised learning plans that address the unique requirements of each student, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and challenging behaviours.
Work collaboratively with classroom staff, parents, and external professionals to create a positive and supportive educational experience.
Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where all children feel valued and encouraged to thrive.
Ideal Candidate:
Experience: Prior teaching experience working with SEND students, with expertise in supporting individuals with ASD and challenging behaviour.
Compassion & Commitment: A strong commitment to inclusive education and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of children with SEND.
Flexibility & Creativity: The ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners and to think innovatively when addressing behavioural and learning challenges.
