Key Responsibilities: - Deliver tailored learning activities designed by the lead teacher to small groups or on a one-to-one basis. - Assist in the development of educational materials that cater to the different needs of pupils with SEMH, ADHD, and ASC. - Establish rapport and supportive relationships with students to facilitate a constructive learning environment. - Work collaboratively with the lead teacher to monitor the progress of students and implement strategies to enhance their learning outcomes. - Employ behavior management strategies effectively and in accordance with the school’s policy. - Offer emotional support and guidance to students facing challenges related to their conditions. - Contribute to the planning and execution of school events and activities relevant to your student group. - Attend and participate in school meetings and continuous professional development sessions. Requirements: - A degree in Psychology or currently studying towards a degree in Psychology. - Eager to develop skills pertinent to a future career in clinical psychology or a related field. - Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with students and staff at all levels. - A proactive approach with a willingness to adapt to different educational needs and environments. - Prior experience working with children, especially in an SEND setting, is desirable but not essential. - A commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment. - Eligibility to work in the UK.
