ASD Provision Teacher (Mainstream Primary School)
Location: Mainstream Primary School
Position: Full-Time Teacher for ASD Provision
Student Group: 7-10 students with EHCPs // Key Stage 1
Start Date: Immediate
Are you an experienced teacher with a passion for supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and a talent for managing challenging behavior? We are seeking a dedicated teacher to work in our ASD provision unit within a mainstream primary school, supporting a small group of students on Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching and supporting a group of 7-10 students in key stage 1 with ASD within our specialized provision unit.
Creating and implementing individualized lesson plans that meet the unique needs of each student.
Coordinating and mentoring a team of Teaching Assistants who will work one-on-one with the students.
Fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the development of each student’s social, emotional, and academic growth.
Essential Requirements:
Experience working with students with ASD and managing challenging behavior.
Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with TAs and school staff effectively.
Experience in planning and adapting lessons to support diverse learning needs.
