Job Title: SEN Teacher
Primary Teacher (Special Needs) Location: Brent, London Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Start Date: January Role Type: Special Needs Primary Teacher (Key Stage 1) Pay: To scale We are looking for an experienced and passionate Primary Teacher to join our dedicated team at a special needs primary school in Brent. You will be working with Key Stage 1 students who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and complex needs, creating an engaging and supportive learning environment tailored to their individual needs. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver creative, inclusive, and differentiated lessons to meet the needs of students with ASD and complex needs. Foster a safe, nurturing, and structured environment to support student progress. Collaborate with support staff, therapists, and families to ensure the holistic development of each child. Implement and adapt Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records. Requirements: Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Experience: Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting, ideally with SEND students. A deep understanding of the needs of students with ASD and complex needs. Strong behavior management skills and a patient, empathetic approach. Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment.
