Teaching Assistant (SEN) – Key Stage 3 Location: Special Needs All-Through School, Brent Position: Teaching Assistant Hours: Part-time or Full-time Start Date: ASAP Pay: £90-£100 per day Are you a compassionate and experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting students with special educational needs? A vibrant, all-through special needs school in Brent is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team, supporting Key Stage 3 students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other complex needs. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to Key Stage 3 students with ASD and additional complex needs. Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to implement individualized learning plans. Assist in creating an inclusive, nurturing learning environment where all students feel valued. Manage behavior in a positive and encouraging manner, using strategies appropriate for SEN. Contribute to the assessment of students' progress and adapt support strategies accordingly. Requirements: Proven experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN), ideally within a school or similar educational or support setting. Experience supporting students with ASD and complex needs is essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team.
