Job Title: SEND Key Stage 1 1:1 Teaching Assistant- Personal experience
Location: Ofsted Rated "Outstanding" Primary School in Hounslow
Hours: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm
Salary: £85 - £105 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Parking: Free On-Site Parking
This amazing multi-tiered primary school are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join their large, supportive team. You will be working closely with a non-verbal Reception/Year 1 student who exhibits some challenging behaviours and requires personal care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 support for a non-verbal child in Reception/Year 1
Assist with personal care tasks as needed
Support the child with learning activities and engagement
Promote a calm and nurturing environment
Manage challenging behaviours in a positive and constructive manner
Ideal Candidate:
Calm, patient, and empathetic attitude
Willingness to provide personal care
Enthusiastic and eager to learn
Previous experience working with SEND children is preferred, but not essential
Comfortable working in a large primary school environment
