Job Title: SEND Learning Support Assistant
Job Ad: SEND Teaching Assistant - College Position: SEND Teaching Assistant (Support for Male Students) Location: Bromley Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday We are seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a group of male students in college with additional needs. The ideal candidate will have an academic background and be able to assist students with both academic and personal development, experienced in supporting students with SEMH and challenging behaviours. Key Responsibilities: • Provide tailored 1:1 academic and personal support to students with additional needs. • Assist with coursework, assignments, and daily college activities. • Support with emotional, social, and behavioural development. • Collaborate with college staff to implement an effective support plan. • Foster a positive and structured learning environment. Requirements: • Experience working with students with SEMH and challenging behaviours. • Strong academic background, ideally with experience supporting students with SEND. • Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
