Job Title: SEND Learning Support Assistant
Are you committed to supporting the educational and personal development of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? We are seeking compassionate and skilled individuals to join our dedicated team at a SEND school in the Richmond area. Position: SEND Support Staff Location: Richmond Hours: • Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM • Friday: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM Key Responsibilities: • Provide specialised support for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and other challenging needs • Implement individualised strategies to promote positive behaviour and learning outcomes • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and monitor individual education plans • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment Requirements: • Experience working with secondary school students with SEND, particularly those with ASD and ADHD • Strong understanding of strategies to manage challenging behaviours • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Patience, empathy, and a passion for making a difference in students’ lives Benefits: • Competitive salary - £14.66 per hour • Professional development opportunities • Supportive and collaborative team environment If you are enthusiastic about supporting secondary school students with SEND and meet the above criteria, we would love to hear from you.
