We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team, supporting children with a variety of special educational needs, including ASD, PMLD, Complex Needs and challenging behaviours, in a school in Tilehurst. The ideal candidate will bring a background in working with individuals with SEND, whether with children or adults, and a passion for creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment. This is a full-time position, running Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, where you’ll provide focused, one-on-one support to students across a range of age groups, from Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) through Key Stages 1 to 4. The role requires someone who can implement effective strategies to manage and support children with diverse SEND requirements. The pay rate starts at £93.48 per day (umbrella). Applicants should have experience working with individuals with SEND and demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive, supportive relationships with the children.
