Job Title: SEND TA needed in Hungerford (full-time)
Position: • Full-Time Teaching Assistant at a new independent special needs school in Hungerford, West Berkshire. • Role focused on supporting autistic children who experience behavioural challenges. Role Overview: • Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM. • Provide essential support for students’ learning and development. • Engage directly with students, helping manage challenging behaviour and supporting personal care tasks when needed. Requirements: • Previous experience working with young people with special needs or challenging behaviour. • Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies. • Compassion, patience and a commitment to supporting each child’s individual needs. Salary and Benefits: • Starting umbrella rate of £93.48 per day, with a pay increase after 12 weeks. • Potential for permanent employment with the school.
