Job Title: SEND TA
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team in SM6, working across all age groups to support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This full-time role offers a fulfilling opportunity to positively impact students’ lives, providing tailored support to help them thrive both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with teachers to support students with SEND across multiple age groups, providing individualized assistance and fostering a positive learning environment.
Work one-on-one and in small groups, using strategies to engage students and encourage their development.
Assist in implementing Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) and keep records of student progress to support continuous improvement.
Ideal Candidate:
Experience: Previous experience working with SEND students, particularly with diverse needs and communication or behavioural challenges.
Compassion & Flexibility: A genuine passion for inclusive education, with the flexibility to adapt to the needs of different age groups and learning styles.
Commitment: Enthusiasm for making a positive impact on student outcomes and fostering a respectful, inclusive environment.
