Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant
Axcis Education is working with a number of Primary and Secondary schools across Trafford, supporting children and young people with a range of needs, from mainstream classrooms to specialist SEND settings. We're building a pool of proactive and caring Teaching Assistants to start in flexible roles soon.
We’re looking for individuals who:
- Have experience supporting children or young people in education, care or community settings
- Hold relevant qualifications such as Level 2/3 TA, Health & Social Care or a related degree (e.g. Psychology, Education)
- Are reliable, adaptable and genuinely committed to helping children learn, grow and succeed
What the role involves:
- Supporting pupils with their learning in class, in small groups or 1:1
- Assisting with behaviour management and emotional regulation
- Helping to create an inclusive, supportive learning environment
- Working closely with teachers and SENCOs to meet individual needs
- Encouraging independence, confidence, and progress in every student
