We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistant, who specialises in ASD or PMLD, to join our passionate and welcoming team at a Post-16 SEND College in Kingston. You will support in ensuring lessons are exciting and well differentiated to meet the needs of individuals and groups, promoting progression, continuity, and quality of learning by having clear intentions for our students' learning. These learning intentions will promote students' independence and prepare them for adulthood. You will work with learners aged 16 to 18 in class sizes that are usually 7 to 10 students. You will monitor, evaluate, and report on the quality of teaching and learning and classroom management standards. You will line manage a team of Learning Support Assistants. You will safeguard and promote the welfare of all students. You will have or be working towards a Diploma in Education and Training or equivalent, and recent Outstanding/Good teaching experience with students with special needs.
