Job Title: Teaching Assistant – Plumbing & Carpentry
Teaching Assistant – Plumbing & Carpentry
We are looking for a confident, proactive and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to support students studying Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry and Multi-Skills at Level 1 and Level 2.
The successful candidates will be engaging, approachable and able to build positive relationships with a diverse range of students. Experience working with behaviour management would be highly beneficial.
Location: Euston
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm
Pay: £14.25 – £16.00 per hour, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities
• Support tutors during Plumbing and Carpentry classes
• Assist students with practical activities and coursework
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support where required
• Help prepare and organise tools, materials and classroom resources
Requirements:
• Experience or knowledge of Plumbing and/or Carpentry is desirable
• Previous experience supporting learners or working in an educational environment is an advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, approachable and supportive attitude
