The Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers to provide high-quality support for pupils across the school, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment. Your responsibilities will include: • Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons. • Providing one-to-one and small-group support for pupils who require additional assistance. • Encouraging pupils' confidence, independence, and participation in learning. • Preparing classroom resources and supporting daily classroom activities. • Promoting pupils' social, emotional, and personal development. • Helping to create a safe, positive, and nurturing learning environment. • Working collaboratively with teachers and the wider school team to support pupil progress. What We're Looking For We're keen to hear from candidates who: • Have experience working with children in a school, childcare, or similar setting (desirable but not essential). • Are caring, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting young learners. • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Can work collaboratively as part of a team while using their own initiative. • Are adaptable, proactive, and committed to helping every child succeed. Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or are willing to apply (we can support you with this).
