Job Title: Teaching Assistant Supporting Pupils with ASD
Axcis Education are recruiting for 2 exceptional teaching assistants or classroom staff to support young people with Autism in a mainstream primary school. - Convenient Centrally located Primary School - Supportive and friendly Environment - Small Class Sizes - Exceptional SEND Team Ideal candidates will have a positive, calm and patient demeanour and will have 6 months experience working with young people. This experience does not have to have been in School settings specifically, so anyone with experience working in Drama Clubs, Weekend Groups, Sports Coaching or in a care capacity will be considered. The school is a popular 2 form entry Primary school in North/Central Leeds and they are looking to support a small group of pupils new into the school this academic year. One role is based in Early Years and the other in KS1 with both starts being in the new term in January - If availability allows, the roles can start before Christmas and access to the extensive CPD library at Axcis Education is available to everyone who works with us.
