Job Title: Teaching Assistant
A well-established special needs school in Harrow is seeking experienced Teaching Assistants to become valued members of our dedicated team. This is a unique opportunity to support students with a variety of special educational needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Speech and Language Difficulties, and other complex learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to students across different age groups, helping them to achieve their educational goals.
Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapting learning materials to meet each student’s needs.
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
Requirements:
Proven experience working with children or young adults with special needs in an educational or care setting.
Strong communication skills, patience, and a compassionate approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
Full-time availability with a commitment to fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere for all students.
