Job Title: ASD Primary Teacher
Position: Full-Time SEND Teacher
Location: Mitcham
Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate SEND Teacher to join our team, supporting students with Autism (ASD), ADHD, Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and challenging behaviour. You will play a vital role in delivering tailored education plans that help students overcome barriers and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of SEND students.
• Support students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and manage challenging behaviours effectively.
• Work collaboratively with support staff to implement individualised education plans (IEPs).
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods as needed.
Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with experience in SEND education.
• Experience working with students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and challenging behaviour.
• Strong behaviour management skills and a commitment to inclusive education.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
