Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We are seeking a dedicated teaching assistant to join a supportive and inclusive primary school through our established education agency.
About the Role:
As a teaching assistant, you will work closely with teachers and SEN coordinators to provide tailored support to pupils with additional needs. You’ll be helping children thrive both academically and emotionally, supporting them with learning activities, behaviour management, and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 or small group support to SEN pupils in the classroom
• Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
• Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and parents/carers
• Support children with personal care (where necessary)
Requirements:
• Experience working with SEN children (preferred but not essential)
• Enhanced DBS certificate (must be registered on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive, patient, and empathetic attitude
• Ability to adapt to different school environments and pupil needs
