Job Title: Behaviour Support Assistant
We are currently recruiting for a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to support KS3 and KS4 students in a SEMH secondary school located in Taunton. • You will be supporting students who are at risk of exclusion; assisting them with their daily school routine and working with them to develop strategies enabling them to manage their behaviour. • The students you will be working with may have a range of learning disabilities and SEMH needs, therefore previous experience of working alongside children with challenging behaviour, SEN and SEMH needs is an advantage. • This position is available for an immediate start until the end of the academic year and may be extended dependent on funding. • Hours are 8.30-3.30 Monday to Friday with a 30 minute break and pay is competitive. The school is a large, SEMH secondary school and is located on the outskirts of Taunton. There is a car park for staff use and the school can be accessed by various public transport routes.
