About The School The school is independent special school supporting up to 60 pupils aged 11-19. They provide a positive, nurturing environment with a strong focus on personalised learning, vocational education, and preparing young people for adulthood. Key Responsibilities • Deliver practical vocational lessons across multiple trade disciplines including: Carpentry Plumbing Electrical installation Plastering Brickwork • Plan and teach engaging, high-quality lessons that support student progress. • Develop industry-relevant learning experiences. • Support students to build employability, independence and life skills. • Maintain safe and organised workshop environments. • Promote positive behaviour and student engagement. • Build strong relationships with pupils, families, employers and external agencies. • Support learners towards accreditation, employment pathways and apprenticeships where appropriate.
