Pay rate of £90 - £110 per day, depending on experience and qualifications (12pm-4pm)

About the Role:
We are eagerly seeking a warm and dynamic Nursery Teacher to join us on a part-time basis. Your work schedule will run from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, five days a week, providing you with the perfect work-life balance to pursue your personal interests or commitments outside of work. The starting date for this rewarding opportunity is January.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and evaluate a creative and comprehensive educational curriculum that meets the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of both the individual child and the group.
- Interact affectionately and respectfully with children, fostering their self-esteem and supporting their developmental milestones.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and other staff members, ensuring that the needs of our young learners are always met promptly and professionally.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and inviting environment for children, adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
- Coordinate activities that encourage curiosity, exploration, and problem-solving appropriate to the developmental levels and learning styles of the children.
- Observe children’s interactions and scaffold their learning by being an active learner alongside them.
Requirements:
- Qualification in early years education.
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain).
