Job Title: PPA Cover Teacher (Primary Schools) Start Date: January 2025 Pay Rate: £95- £145 per day (depending on experience) Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester Axcis Education is currently seeking a passionate and flexible PPA Cover Teacher to join our network of partner primary schools in the Stockport Borough. This exciting opportunity allows you to work across a variety of school settings, providing much-needed support while building strong relationships with staff and pupils. The Role As a PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) Cover Teacher, you will: - Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2. - Provide high-quality teaching to cover teacher absences. - Support schools in managing their timetables effectively by stepping in where required. - Engage and motivate pupils with creative and inspiring teaching methods. - Adapt to different school environments and follow the school’s policies and procedures. About You We are looking for candidates who: - Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE equivalent. - Have experience teaching primary school-aged children. - Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills. - Are adaptable, enthusiastic, and professional in their approach. - Have strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and staff.
