Job Title: Primary Resource Base -SEN Teaching Assistant, Smethwick
Location: Smethwick Salary: From £13.86 per hour / £89 per day Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm Contract: Full-time, Long-Term (September Start) We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and patient Teaching Assistant to join a mainstream primary school in Smethwick, which offers a specialist resource base for students with Autism (ASC). This is a full-time, long-term role starting in September, supporting students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups within the resource base and occasionally within the mainstream classroom. About the Role: You’ll be working closely with children with Autism and additional needs, supporting them to access learning and develop both academically and socially. The school offers a warm, inclusive environment with a strong focus on pupil wellbeing and staff development.
