Position Type: Full-time (Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm)
Pay: From £89 per day

We are currently recruiting for a proactive and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Wednesbury starting in March 2026.
This is a full-time, long-term role supporting children across the primary age range with a variety of special educational needs. The school is looking for passionate individuals who are committed to making a positive impact and helping pupils thrive both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of SEN needs
• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
• Implement and support Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
• Encourage positive behaviour and support emotional regulation
• Promote pupils’ confidence, independence, and social development
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff
Requirements:
• Previous experience working in a primary school setting is desirable
• Experience supporting children with SEN is highly desirable
• A proactive, positive, and flexible attitude
• A genuine passion for working with children
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A valid DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
