We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic SEND Teacher to join a specialist SEND school in Maidenhead, supporting secondary-age pupils with autism and a range of additional learning needs. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs, abilities and learning styles of the pupils. Many of the children are working at a primary level, so the ability to teach and adapt across a range of subjects is essential. We are looking for a qualified teacher with QTS who has at least one year’s experience working in a SEND setting. You will need to be confident supporting pupils with autism, have a flexible and nurturing approach, and be able to create a positive, structured learning environment where every pupil can thrive. Lesson planning is an important part of the role, and you will be expected to develop and deliver appropriate learning activities while working closely with the wider school team to support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development.
