SEN Teaching Assistant – Mainstream Primary School | Sutton | September 2026 We are currently recruiting for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in Sutton from September 2026. This is a full-time supply position, Monday to Friday, 8:15am – 4:00pm, offering the opportunity to work flexibly across different year groups and support pupils with a range of additional needs. The Role: Providing one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with SEN Working flexibly across different year groups as required Supporting pupils to access learning and participate positively in the classroom Helping to promote positive behaviour, independence and confidence Adapting support to meet individual pupil needs Working closely with class teachers and the wider school team Requirements: Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN in a UK primary school setting Experience working with a range of additional needs A patient, calm and adaptable approach Strong communication and teamwork skills Confidence working across different year groups and classroom environments A genuine commitment to supporting pupils’ learning and wellbeing The School: Welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school Google School, using technology to enhance learning Supportive leadership team and strong staff community Strong focus on inclusion, pupil wellbeing and achievement Collaborative and positive school environment Easily accessible Sutton location Salary: £97 per day This is a great opportunity for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for full-time supply work within a supportive mainstream primary school, with the flexibility to work across different year groups.
