We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic Special Needs School in Redditch. This is a full-time, long-term position for someone passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and who wants to be part of a team that creates an environment where children thrive. Role Details: • Position: Full-Time Teaching Assistant • Location: Special Needs School, Redditch • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 3.30pm • Pay: From £89 per day, depending on experience • Contract: Long-term, full-time position What We Are Looking For: • Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs is essential. • Experience working in a classroom setting, supporting teachers and students, is highly desirable. • You should have a good understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and how to manage challenging behaviour in a positive and effective manner. • You should be confident in offering tailored support to students, helping them overcome barriers to learning and personal development. Key Responsibilities: • Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with SEND, including ASD, ADHD, and behaviour challenges • Assist in creating an inclusive and positive learning environment where children feel safe and supported • Help students with both their academic and emotional development • Promote positive behaviour management and help students build their confidence and independence • Work alongside the teaching team to ensure students receive the support they need to succeed This is more than just a job – it’s a chance to have a real, lasting impact on the lives of children.
