Axcis education are working with a respected special educational needs school in Bournemouth who are looking for an enthusiastic, child focused practitioner. We are looking for an empathetic and caring mentor who can support pupils they will be working alongside. These students may have various special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), experience of which would be beneficial.
This teaching assistant position would be a great match for those looking for a long-term role as there is excellent potential for progression in this school, with many staff being taken onto permanent contracts after a short period of supply work.
The school has a "good" Ofsted rating and is well respected in the local area as they often hold community events to interact and engage with the local community. They encourage the staff to be actively involved and share their ideas.

The right candidate will be a friendly, patient and positive teaching assistant who has a proactive attitude and the desire to go above and beyond.
