Job Title: Speech & Language Therapist (Band 6 & Band 7) | SEND College | Sutton | Full-Time
Are you a passionate Speech & Language Therapist looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people with additional needs?
We are recruiting Band 6 and Band 7 Speech & Language Therapists to join a specialist SEND College in Sutton. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive, multidisciplinary team, helping young people develop the communication skills they need to achieve greater independence and reach their full potential.
The Role
As part of the therapy team, you will:
• Assess, plan and deliver individualised speech and language therapy programmes.
• Support students with a range of communication needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), learning disabilities and complex needs.
• Work closely with teaching staff, occupational therapists, psychologists, and other professionals to provide a holistic approach to student support.
• Contribute to Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), reviews and annual reports.
• Provide advice, training and strategies to staff and families to support communication across the college environment.
• Monitor student progress and adapt intervention plans where required.
We're looking for candidates who have:
• HCPC registration as a Speech & Language Therapist.
• Experience working with children or young adults with SEND.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A collaborative approach and a passion for improving outcomes for learners with additional needs.
• Band 6 or Band 7 experience (or equivalent) is desirable.
