About the Role As the Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons across the primary curriculum. You will create a calm, structured and inclusive classroom where pupils feel safe, supported and encouraged to achieve their best. You will: • Teach a mainstream primary class on a full-time basis • Plan and deliver creative, well-structured lessons across core and foundation subjects • Differentiate learning to support pupils of varying abilities and additional needs • Use clear routines, positive behaviour strategies and high expectations • Track pupil progress and adapt teaching to close gaps in learning • Work closely with Teaching Assistants, phase leaders and senior staff • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and the wider school community • Contribute to a warm, inclusive and ambitious school culture What We’re Looking For • Qualified Teacher Status, or equivalent teaching qualification • Experience teaching within a UK primary school • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum • Confident classroom management and clear expectations • Ability to plan engaging and differentiated lessons • A positive, organised and reflective approach to teaching • Commitment to inclusion and supporting pupils with additional needs • Full-time availability and commitment to a long-term role from September This is an excellent opportunity for a Primary Teacher looking for a long-term role in a supportive Purfleet primary academy.
