The Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: • Provide one-to-one and small-group support for students with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). • Adapt learning activities to ensure students can fully access the secondary curriculum. • Support pupils with literacy, numeracy, organisation, and classroom engagement. • Encourage confidence, independence, resilience, and positive social interactions. • Work closely with teachers and the SEND team to deliver personalised support and interventions. • Monitor student progress and contribute towards EHCP targets and reviews. • Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and safeguarding at all times.
