Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Secondary Teaching Assistant (SEMH Support)
Sherborne | £89–£95 per day | Full-time role

We are looking for a Secondary Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and inclusive school, where every student is supported to achieve their full potential.
You will be working closely with pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, supporting pupils and contributing to a positive learning environment. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine impact in a supportive and forward-thinking school community.

The role:
- Collaborate with teaching staff to support engaging classroom activities and achieve learning goals
- Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support, including for students with additional or specific needs
- Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive atmosphere that encourages student participation and well-being
- Assist in preparing learning materials, resources, and classroom setups to enhance lesson delivery
- Encourage students to build confidence, independence, and a lifelong enthusiasm for learning
