Job Title: Teaching assistant

As a full-time General Teaching Assistant at a secondary school, you will work closely with the class teacher to create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment. You’re caring and proactive approach will enhance the educational experience of all students, including those with additional needs.
Responsibilities:
• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons.
• Assist students with SEND, providing one-on-one support tailored to their individual needs.
• Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere, promoting a love for learning.
• Help with classroom organization and preparation of teaching materials.
• Collaborate with the teacher and other staff to meet students' educational goals.
• Offer emotional support and encouragement to pupils, building their confidence.
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children is advantageous.
• A genuine understanding of the diverse needs of young learners and the ability to remain patient and supportive.
• Willingness to work with different age groups and learning abilities.
• Enthusiasm for fostering a stimulating and positive classroom environment.
• An ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.
